Written for the NaAdWriMo (National ADRIFT Writing Month) Competition 2007.
InsideADRIFT Game of the Year Comp 2007: 6th place

Pausing in the middle of the street, nearly bent double, hands resting on your knees, you try to catch your breath.

Pounding hard and irregular your heart feels as if it is going to explode from your chest. Light-headed and slightly disorientation, it feels as if you are going to be sick.

You seem to have been running forever and have lost all knowledge of time.

Authors Notes:

Written for one of the time limited competitions that spring up on the Adrift forum, for some reason I decided to write under a different name (Eric T. Dorrath = Richard Otter).
