This is a quite unique ADRIFT game. Not because of the story or the writing, the later of which is superb while the former quite clichéd, but because of the “Choose your own adventure” format, which many adventure writers seem to avoid for some reason. True, this format is not as sophisticated than using a more open one where you use command words instead of selecting from several choices, but it makes the game more accessible to players who may not be used to play interactive fiction. I hope the author continues to create similar games; he’s got a lot of potential.
