Solid first effort
I must agree with the previous reviewer - the locations descriptions are too short. I had to type "exits" in every room just to see which way I could go. The
game does have a nice atmosphere and I found myself wanting to play on... Keep up the promising work.

I wasn't too impressed with the descriptions - they seemed a bit too basic for my liking and lacked any real flair - but the game played reasonably well and
was interesting enough to keep my attention. I've certainly played worse games in my life, but then again I've also played a lot better too.

Decent First Game
For a first game, this is pretty decent. Most puzzles are solveable and I didn't
have to much guess the verb, which is rare these days. But there are lots of beginner mistakes. When in the
courtyard, going down leads back into the Library which is not supposed to happen. Longer descriptions for rooms would
help a lot, as two or three lines doesn't help much. But, there was some good puzzles on here like the fire poker or the torch which is rare in a first game.
I'm not recommending the game, but I came very close to it. With a little more work on it, it'd be a good game.
